Andrea graduated at University of Bologna in international and diplomatic studies, focusing on sustainable development. He has always shared a great passion for tourism, language studies, and international cultural exchange, thus during his academic career he participated to several mobility programs, in Ireland, Estonia, Spain, and the United States. After graduation, in 2012, he worked at the Consulate General of Italy in Chicago as communication officer.
During this experience he created, in cooperation with the American Association of Teachers of Italian - Midwest, a project of teaching Italian culture to american students using both frontal seminars and skype lectures overseas, which lasted 4 years. In this framework he studied techniques of teaching Italian as second language and teaching social sciences to speakers of english language. So far, he considers this experience as his greatest accomplishment in terms of cultural exchange. While at the Consulate he participated at the NATO Summit 2012 in Chicago as press officer for the Italian delegation. In 2014 Andrea became member of the UNESCO Italian Youth Committee, volunteering as communication and media analyst, for both the national committee and the Calabria regional division. To fill up his passion for tourism, from 2015 to 2017 he worked as resort manager in Soverato (CZ). Andrea is currently working as Cabin Crew at Ryanair in Lamezia Terme, Italy. He started his duty in Berlin, Germany, in April 2017, before being transferred to Calabria in October 2017. He loves his job and he is thrilled by the idea of engaging people from all over the world every single day.
